Secondary Skill : NAPosition Specific duties : Perform and/or assist with internal application security assessments.
Coach and contribute to build and provide application security trainings to Engineers and Security Champions community.
Security Code Reviews Giving recommendations for Security requirements and findings.
Consultation for onboarding configuration remediation of SAST SCA Secret Scanning Container Scanning tools.
Cloud Security best practices consultations Understanding of Vulnerability Management
Collaborate with other engineers stakeholders and at times external companies or customers to solve problems and build solutions.
Follow industrystandard Application Security Standards and inclined to Gen A.I technologies.
Grow your own and help grow others technical talents. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Learn new skills and technologies as required to support existing and evolving products. E.g. Implementing Software Designs Writing Code Testing Deploying on Cloud.
Required skill : 2 or 3yrs Experience using AWS services or similar Cloud Technologies and implanting Security controls for same.
3 or more years of proficiency Secure coding Container Cloud Security Best Practices handson knowledge to remediate vulnerabilities.
2 or more years of proficiency in one modern programming language or library (e.g. Python JavaScript Node.js Java etc.)
Proven experience as an Application Security Engineer solving moderately complex problems.
Experience in software test automation techniques and framework (Pytest etc.)
Selfconfident decisive and comfortable in ambiguous situations.
Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
Driven towards building security culture in the communities.
Desired Experience : Working experience leveraging DevOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration
Continuous Delivery/Deployment using tools like GitActions Drone.
Understanding of security coding best practices such as OWASP SANS etc..
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with technical and nontechnical individuals globally
Education : B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Computer Engineering Software Engineering Cybersecurity or a Technology related discipline.
