Job Description
Position: Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient
Start Date: 12/3/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Lawton OK 73505
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days8:00 AM 5:00 PM 8
Shift Notes: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM MonFri (8 Hour Days)
Weekend Requirements: At least 6 possible Saturdays to cover
OnCall Requirements: No Call

Traveler Policy: Candidates Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates 50mile radius restriction)
Specific Policies
- Orientation Allied and Therapy Travelers start orientation on Tuesdays. Nursing Travelers start orientation on Thursdays
- Call Policy On Call paid out with 1 Hour Minimum
The staff speech pathologist will provide a full range of diagnostic and clinical services for inpatients and outpatients who may be classified as infant child adolescent adult and geriatric with speech and language problems cognitive deficits voice and fluency problems and swallowing in a multidisciplinary team approach and participation. The therapist must be licensed as a certified speech pathologist in the State of Oklahoma or be eligible for licensure.
Submission Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience Required
- Experience with neurogenic patients Dysphagia and pediatrics preferred
- Recent traveler experience highly preferred
- ACLS preferred please include in the packet in addition to other certifications if the traveler has this requirement
- The clinician may be required to float from Inpatient to Outpatient Rehab Please confirm traveler is open to floating as needed before submission Required

- Skills Checklist current to 1 year pertinent to the specialty
- 2 Supervisory Reference Forms taken within the last two years
- Licensure & Certifications (OK State License or compact & BLS AHA NIH ACLS AHA Preferred)
