Sales/Business Development Director Staffing/Recruitment Industry

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and resultsdriven Sales/Business Development Director to lead our business growth initiatives in the staffing industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales account management and team leadership coupled with a deep understanding of the staffing and recruitment sector. This role requires strategic vision excellent client relationship skills and the ability to achieve revenue targets consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive new business in the staffing industry.
- Identify and target potential clients in key industries such as IT healthcare finance and engineering.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline ensuring consistent business opportunities.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients understanding their hiring needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize revenue and profitability.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients providing insights into market trends and staffing best practices.
Business Development:
- Identify emerging markets industry trends and opportunities for business expansion.
- Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns that attract new clients and enhance brand visibility.
- Attend industry events conferences and networking opportunities to build partnerships.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and manage a team of account managers and business development professionals.
- Set performance targets monitor progress and implement strategies to achieve team goals.
- Foster a culture of excellence collaboration and innovation.
Reporting & Strategy:
- Analyze sales performance metrics and generate regular reports for senior leadership.
- Provide strategic input for business planning and market positioning.
- Stay updated on competitors and adapt strategies accordingly.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 8 years of proven success in sales or business development preferably in the staffing/recruitment industry.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Skills:
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Exceptional relationshipbuilding and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and sales management software.
- Knowledge:
- Indepth understanding of staffing solutions including temporary permanent and contract staffing.
- Familiarity with various industry verticals and hiring trends.
