Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Investment Banking Analyst/Associate to join our dynamic team. This individual will be responsible for supporting senior bankers in executing corporate finance transactions including mergers and acquisitions (M&A) capital raising and advisory services. The role will involve financial modeling industry research preparing client presentations and performing due diligence. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills and a passion for investment banking.
Key Responsibilities:-
Financial Analysis & Modeling:
- Develop financial models to support transaction structuring valuation and decisionmaking processes (DCF LBO Comparable Companies Precedent Transactions).
- Perform detailed financial statement analysis and forecasting.

Client Support:
- Assist in preparing pitch materials presentations and client communications.
- Support senior bankers in managing client relationships including helping to identify opportunities for clients and presenting financial solutions.

Transaction Execution:
- Assist in executing M&A debt and equity capital markets transactions from initial client engagement to closing.
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate with external advisors (lawyers accountants consultants).

Market and Industry Research:
- Conduct indepth research on industries markets and potential M&A targets or buyers.
- Monitor market trends and prepare industry reports for clients.

Team Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior bankers associates and other internal teams to ensure smooth and efficient execution of transactions.
- Mentor and train junior analysts in technical skills and transaction process knowledge.

Education:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field (MBA or equivalent for Associate level).

Experience:
- Analyst: 13 years of experience in investment banking corporate finance or related field.
- Associate: 24 years of experience in investment banking with a demonstrated ability to manage deal processes and lead teams.

Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling Excel and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with valuation techniques financial statement analysis and capital markets.

Communication Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present complex financial concepts clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.

Work Ethic:
- Highly detailoriented organized and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and criticalthinking abilities.

Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience in a specific industry (e.g. Technology Healthcare Energy) may be advantageous.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg FactSet or Capital IQ is a plus.

Investment Banking Analyst:
- Base Salary: $100000 $130000 annually
- Bonus: $30000 $50000 (based on individual and firm performance)

Investment Banking Associate:
- Base Salary: $130000 $160000 annually
- Bonus: $50000 $100000 (based on individual and firm performance)
