Job Description
Location: Boston Massachusetts Hybrid: In the office 3 days per week.
Duration: Full Time W2 employment

Join our Energy and Sustainability Services group as a Software Engineer specializing in Angular development. In this role youll contribute to innovative software solutions that assist contractors in constructing buildings with energyefficient utilities. The preferred location for this position is Louisville Kentucky.
As part of a talented team of architects and developers the Sustainability Software Developer will design and implement businesscritical applications that support our sustainability initiatives. You will collaborate with software architects and stakeholders to understand requirements and constraints and develop execution strategies to meet those needs effectively.
The Sustainability Architecture Group focuses on leveraging cuttingedge technologies to create sustainable solutions. Utilizing Azure services such as IoT AI and machine learning our team develops solutions that empower customers to optimize energy usage reduce carbon footprints and enhance operational efficiency. Your expertise in Angular development will be crucial to the success of our team as you contribute to the design and development of software solutions aligned with our strategic architecture and platform strategies.
What will you do
- Work on a talented team building SaaSbased energy and sustainability solutions for our business clients and customers.
- Develop and enhance core business systems and applications focusing on frontend development with Angular while integrating with both internal and external systems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design and implement software solutions that tackle sustainability challenges.
- Build software solutionsboth internal and externalthat enable companies to track report and reduce their carbon emissions to meet sustainability goals.
- Write clean efficient and maintainable code using Angular HTML5 CSS3 and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Develop APIs and web services for data collection and analysis in partnership with backend developers.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to sustainability.
What will you bring
- Proficiency in Angular development.
- Strong understanding of software development principles design patterns and best practices.
- Experience with frontend development including Angular HTML CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Knowledge of backend technologies such as .NET Core and C# is a plus.
- Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Required Skills:
- Angular HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript TypeScript
- 5 years of experience designing and developing frontend solutions.
- Knowledge of modern UI frameworks and frontend development best practices
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools
Preferred Skills:
- Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field.
- Knowledge of cloud computing; experience building scalable resilient applications using Azure is a plus.
- Experience working in collaborative teams and in an agile development environment.
- Previous energy or sustainability industry knowledge is a plus.
- Familiarity with backend development using C# .NET ASP.NET MVC .NET Core
- Experience with Azure services and Kubernetes
- SQL Server NoSQL Databases
