Position: Director of Rehabilitation

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced therapist (PT OT SLP COTA or PTA) to join our team as a Director of Rehabilitation for a 90 bed SNF. In this role you will be responsible for managing and leading the rehabilitation department as well as providing direct patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the rehabilitation department including scheduling staffing and budgeting
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with a variety of conditions and needs
Evaluate patients progress and modify treatment plans as necessary
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients
Provide handson therapy services to patients as needed
Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to rehabilitation services
Train and mentor therapy staff to ensure highquality care and professional development
Participate in facility meetings and provide reports on department performance and patient outcomes
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Qualifications:
Current state license to practice as a PT OT SLP COTA or PTA
Minimum of 1 years of experience as a therapist
Previous experience in a management or leadership role preferred
Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidencebased rehabilitation practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
