JOB DETAILS:
- Location: Portugal (Portuguese residency required)
- Work model: Remote
DESCRIPTION:
Join our team as a Platform Engineer. You will optimize our cloud infrastructure ensuring performance scalability and security. Your role includes overseeing the migration process designing and maintaining the cloud platform and integrating onsite systems with cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design implement and maintain secure and scalable cloud solutions on Azure.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure performance costefficiency and compliance with data protection laws.
- Automate deployments and configurations using Azure DevOps and related tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services into applications.
- Plan and execute disaster recovery and backup strategies.
- Optimize resource utilization and implement costsaving measures.
- Stay updated on Azure services and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance on cloudrelated issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for cloud architectures and procedures.
- Facilitate the migration of legacy systems to cloudbased solutions.
- Manage security and access controls for cloud environments.
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure including design deployment and optimization.
- Knowledge of IaaS and PaaS solutions.
- Experience with Jira and ServiceNow.
- Experience automating cloud deployments and configuration management using Azure DevOps PowerShell and ARM templates.
- Experience designing migrating and operating enterprise infrastructure and application systems.
- Proficiency in IaC tools like Terraform Azure CLI Puppet or Ansible.
- Skilled in GIT for source code management and Azure DevOps.
- Strong communication skills and a teamoriented approach.
