Position Overview
The Technical Recruiter will play a pivotal role in identifying attracting and onboarding top technical talent across engineering and related disciplines. This position is central to maintaining Axionovas reputation as a workplace of choice. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of recruitment best practices strong interpersonal skills and a strategic mindset to optimize the hiring and onboarding experience.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements qualifications and timelines for technical roles.
Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards social media networking and industry events to attract top technical talent.
Screen interview and evaluate candidates to ensure they align with Axionovas culture and technical standards.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
Use datadriven insights to refine and improve recruitment strategies.
Onboarding
Lead the endtoend onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition for new hires.
Coordinate preboarding activities including paperwork equipment setup and scheduling orientation sessions.
Develop and deliver engaging orientation programs that introduce new hires to Axionovas culture values and goals.
Serve as the main point of contact for new employees during their first 90 days addressing questions concerns and feedback.
Work closely with department managers to tailor onboarding experiences to each role.
Design feedback mechanisms to continuously improve onboarding processes based on new hire experiences.
Process Management and Compliance
Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities in applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment and onboarding process.
Analyze recruitment metrics and prepare reports on hiring effectiveness diversity and retention rates.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field (preferred).
3 years of experience in technical recruiting preferably in the engineering or construction industries.
Proven expertise in onboarding and candidate experience management.
Skills and Competencies
Strong understanding of engineering and technical roles to effectively evaluate candidate qualifications.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple recruitment and onboarding activities simultaneously.
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Datadriven with experience using metrics to optimize recruitment strategies.
Preferred Attributes
Certification in recruitment or HR (e.g. SHRMCP AIRS or similar).
Familiarity with diversity and inclusion initiatives in hiring practices.
Experience with international hiring and onboarding.
