REMOTE (Must be located in Eastern/Central states)
CPA certification is required
7 to 10 years of experience in nonprofit
Job Description:
The company is looking for a Tax Director to oversee the firms tax policies and objectives; monitors reporting and planning to ensure compliance with applicable tax statutes; ensures accuracy of tax returns and works to minimize the organizations tax obligations; creates functional strategies and specific objectives; and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the infrastructure.
Essential Job Functions:
Provide tax planning and compliance services for highnetworth individuals
estates and trusts
Conduct multistate tax filings
Perform tax accruals
Manage a portfolio of clients
Serve as a trusted advisor offering clients industry expertise and knowledge
Work closely with engagement teams to continually add value to clients
Train and mentor tax associates
Qualifications:
Excellent interpersonal communication and client relationship management
skills
Strong research and analytical skills
Prior experience with ProSystem fx Tax BNA products and CCH Intelliconnect
is desired not required.
