Lead the interventional cardiology team as a consultant performing complex cardiac procedures providing expert guidance on treatment plans coordinating research initiatives and ensuring the highest standards of cardiac care at our prestigious hospital group in Saudi Arabia.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides highquality Cardiac care to patients in this area of medicine.
Provide consultative service as requested.
Supervise fellows staff/assistant physicians and residents.
Actively participates in the training and teaching of residents and fellows in his area of expertise and Participates in research activities.
Participates in committees and other administrative functions as needed.
Performs special procedures as privileged.
Follows all hospitalrelated policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Candidates must have current medical license to practice.
Hold Consultant License with the SCFHS by holding a Tier 1 or Tier 2 qualification such as:
Western training: American Board/ UK CCT/ Australia or NZ Royal College Fellowship/ Western European Specialisation Board.
Experience: 3 to 5 years post board or specialisation certification experience depending on country of origin to qualify for Consultant with the Saudi Council.
Professional Experience
Min. 35 years Post Board/Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology Consultant.
Eligible for registration with the Saudi Board Council as Consultant
Language
Proficiency in English; additional proficiency in Arabic is preferred
