Job Description

Roles and responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement customizations and extensions for Oracle EBS modules.
Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Develop PL/SQL code, Oracle Forms, and Reports as needed.
Manage data migration activities, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Perform troubleshooting and debugging of Oracle EBS applications and interfaces.

1. Implementation and Customization
System Configuration: Configure Oracle EBS modules (such as Oracle Financials, Oracle Procurement, Oracle HRMS, Oracle Supply Chain, etc.) to meet the client's specific business requirements.
Customization of Forms and Reports: Customize Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports to provide user-specific interfaces and reports. This involves writing PL/SQL code, creating custom triggers, and ensuring integration with other systems.
Application Modifications: Modify or develop new functionalities using PL/SQL, XML, Java, and other programming languages to meet client needs. Customizations often include extending the standard functionality of Oracle EBS to suit business processes.
Interface Development: Design and develop interfaces between Oracle EBS and third-party systems, databases, or other Oracle applications. This involves working with technologies such as Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, BPEL, and Oracle Integration Cloud.
Customization of Workflow: Customize Oracle Workflow to automate business processes, improve user experience, and ensure smooth integration between various Oracle modules and external systems.
2. Technical Support and Troubleshooting
Issue Diagnosis: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to Oracle EBS, including database performance, application bugs, or integration issues. This may involve analyzing logs, debugging code, and working with Oracle support.
Bug Fixes and Patches: Apply patches and updates to the Oracle EBS system to fix bugs or vulnerabilities. Test patches in a controlled environment before applying them to the production system.
Performance Tuning: Optimize system performance, including tuning SQL queries, improving application response times, and resolving performance bottlenecks.
Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support for Oracle EBS applications, including troubleshooting errors, resolving system outages, and ensuring continuous system availability.


Desired candidate profile


Experience

Minimum 8 + years of Oracle EBS technical role
Proficient in Arabic
Qualification and Skills

SQL/PL.
Oracle Forms, and Forms Personalization.
Concurrent, Reports, and BI Publisher.
Oracle Workflows, AME.
Oracle Application Framework (OAF) (Personalization, Customization, and Extensions).
APIs/ Interfaces/ Integrations.
UserHook.
Has technical experience knowledge on EBS (HR, FIN, SCM) Modules.
. Technical Skills
PL/SQL Development: Strong knowledge of PL/SQL for developing custom code, triggers, stored procedures, and reports.
Oracle Forms and Reports: Experience with Oracle Forms (for UI customization) and Oracle Reports (for reporting and data presentation).
Oracle EBS Modules: Knowledge of various Oracle EBS modules such as Oracle Financials, Oracle Procurement, Oracle HRMS, Oracle Supply Chain, Oracle Manufacturing, etc.
Oracle Integration Tools: Familiarity with Oracle integration tools like Oracle BPEL, SOA Suite, Web Services, and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) for developing custom interfaces and integrating Oracle EBS with external systems.
Oracle Workflow: Ability to design, configure, and customize Oracle Workflow to automate business processes within Oracle EBS.
Oracle Application Server (OAS): Understanding of the Oracle Application Server (OAS) architecture and how it interacts with Oracle EBS components.
Database Management: Experience with Oracle database management and performance tuning, especially in the context of Oracle EBS.
Web Technologies: Familiarity with web technologies like Java, XML, HTML, JavaScript, and SOAP/REST APIs for integrating Oracle EBS with external applications.
