Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all radiation safety regulations and standards as mandated by the Saudi Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC).
- Monitor and assess radiation levels in the workplace to ensure safe exposure levels for employees and the public.
- Maintain and calibrate radiation detection equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Conduct regular safety audits inspections and assessments to identify potential radiation hazards.
- Develop and implement radiation safety protocols and emergency response plans.
- Train staff on radiation safety procedures proper equipment usage and compliance requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of radiation exposure incidents and safety measures.
- Coordinate with government and regulatory bodies for necessary licensing certifications and inspections.
- Investigate and document radiation incidents implementing corrective actions where necessary.
- Stay updated on advancements in radiation safety practices and regulations.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Physics Engineering or a related field.
- Certification or willingness to attend a professional Radiation Safety course.
- Certificates must be attested by the Saudi Embassy.
Skills Required:
- Strong understanding of radiation physics and safety standards.
- Proficiency in the use of radiation detection and monitoring equipment.
- Strong command of English (verbal and written) to prepare reports and communicate effectively.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in documentation and compliance management.
- Analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and mitigate radiation hazards.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies with composure.
