Job Description
Preventative Maintenance Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel daily from home to customer facilities with occasional overnight stays for remote service or training.
- Utilize machine tool manuals technical documents and other resources to research machine parts and services.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and keep work areas clean and orderly.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on CNC machines and provide maintenance training to customers.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the machine tool industry and represented product lines.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical and pneumatic systems on CNC equipment.
Additional Duties:
- Perform related tasks as needed.
- Support other team members and adapt to various job requirements.
Qualifications & Competencies:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Class D license in good standing.
- 35 years of experience in the manufacturing industry with maintenance and repair experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail problemsolving skills and technical curiosity.
- Proficient in English communication (verbal and written).
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office (Word Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Adaptable to changes and capable of managing delays or jobrelated challenges.
