Job Description

The College:

The Role:
- Teach Business Studies and Economics to ALevel students inspiring them with a passion for the subjects and equipping them with the knowledge and skills to succeed in their studies and future careers.
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities incorporating realworld case studies current affairs and interactive learning activities.
- Contribute to the development of a challenging and enriching Business and Economics curriculum that prepares students for university study and careers in fields such as finance management marketing and entrepreneurship.
- Provide guidance and support to students as they prepare for university applications internships and future career paths.
- Play an active role in the colleges enrichment programme organizing visits to businesses inviting guest speakers and facilitating studentled business projects.
Candidate Profile:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Business and Economics education.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of business and economic concepts theories and practices with the ability to relate these to realworld situations and current affairs.
- Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the colleges ethos and values.
