Job Description

Ignite a Passion for Science in a Diverse and Dynamic Learning Community

  • FullTime Permanent
  • Start Date: January 2025

The Role:

  • Teach Science (Biology Chemistry or Physics) across Key Stages 3 and 4 delivering engaging and differentiated lessons that foster a deep understanding of scientific concepts principles and applications.
  • Contribute to the development of a dynamic and enriching Science curriculum that caters to a range of learning styles and abilities and prepares students for success in GCSE examinations.
  • Encourage students to develop their practical skills through handson experiments investigations and research projects.
  • Play an active role in the schools extracurricular programme leading science clubs organizing science fairs and supporting students in their academic pursuits.

Candidate Profile:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a genuine passion for Science education.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of scientific concepts and principles across the secondary curriculum.
  • Be an engaging and enthusiastic teacher with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Be a collaborative and supportive colleague who is committed to the schools ethos and values.
