A forwardthinking sixth form college in Uxbridge West London seeks a passionate and knowledgeable Geography Teacher with a focus on environmental sustainability. This fulltime permanent position commencing in January 2025 offers a unique opportunity to inspire a love of geography and empower students to address the pressing environmental challenges facing our planet.

The Role:
- Inspire and Engage: Deliver engaging and differentiated Geography lessons to ALevel students focusing on environmental sustainability climate change and conservation.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a challenging and enriching Geography curriculum that addresses current environmental issues and promotes sustainable practices.
- Fieldwork Expertise: Lead and organize fieldwork activities that explore local and global environmental challenges fostering students understanding of ecosystems and human impacts.
- Pastoral Involvement: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students supporting their wellbeing and academic progress.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Geography education.
- Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of environmental science sustainability principles and climate change.
- Engaging Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
