A highachieving selective secondary school in Hillingdon West London seeks a passionate and knowledgeable History Teacher to join their successful department. This fulltime permanent position commencing in January 2025 offers an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of history in intellectually curious and motivated students.

The Role:

- Curriculum Expertise: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching History curriculum that covers a wide range of historical periods and themes.
- Develop Critical Thinking: Encourage students to analyze historical sources evaluate evidence and develop their own interpretations of the past.
- Pastoral Involvement: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students supporting their wellbeing and personal development.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for History education.
- Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of historical periods themes and research methodologies.
- Engaging Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
