Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging art lessons tailored to students with diverse learning needs
- Foster a creative and supportive classroom environment that encourages artistic exploration
- Collaborate with the SEN team to create and implement personalized learning plans for students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual growth
- Organize art exhibitions and showcases to celebrate students creative achievements
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Art or related subjects particularly to students with special educational needs
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for fostering creativity in students
- A clear DBS check
- Legal right to work in the UK
