About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging and informative Maths and Physics lessons across all year groups adhering to the National Curriculum.
- Cultivate a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters a love of science and mathematics.
- Guide students in developing a deep understanding of core mathematical and physical principles analytical skills and practical applications.
- Prepare students for success in external examinations (GCSE ALevel and beyond) in both Mathematics and Physics.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Science and Mathematics departments to enhance the curriculum and create a holistic learning experience.
- Contribute to the schools academic excellence and participate in extracurricular activities related to Science and Mathematics.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Mathematics and Physics or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrates a strong passion for both Mathematics and Physics and a proven track record of success in raising student achievement.
- Excels in communication interpersonal skills and classroom management within a highachieving environment.
- Fosters a positive and inclusive learning environment that challenges and motivates students.
- Holds a steadfast commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
