Job Description
We are seeking skilled developers and technical leads with expertise in L2/L3 networking protocols and C programming in a Linux environment. The ideal candidates will have experience in protocol development debugging and bug fixing with opportunities at three levels: C2 (Developer) C3 (Senior Developer) and C4 (Technical Lead). This role requires strong problemsolving skills an understanding of data structures and proficiency in multithreaded programming.
Key Responsibilities
C2 Level (35 Years)
- Develop and debug L2/L3 networking protocols with a focus on partial or full protocol implementation.
- Perform bug fixes for protocol implementations.
- Work on multithreading and socket programming in Linux environments.
- Collaborate with teams using Cisco OS platforms such as IOS IOSXE NXOS.
C3 Level (58 Years)
- Develop debug and enhance L2/L3 networking protocols with full or partial implementation capabilities.
- Conduct bug fixes and performance optimization.
- Demonstrate strong expertise in multithreading socket programming and advanced data structures.
- Work with Cisco OS platforms like IOS IOSXE NXOS.
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SONiC NOS.
- Exposure to programmable packet pipelines.
C4 Level (812 Years)
- Lead the development and debugging of complex L2/L3 networking protocols.
- Architect software solutions for L2/L3 components and oversee the development process.
- Debug and resolve escalated bugs ensuring highquality deliverables.
- Provide technical leadership to teams working on multithreading socket programming and data structures.
- Collaborate with teams to optimize performance on Cisco OS platforms (IOS IOSXE NXOS).
- Preferred Skills:
- Expertise with SONiC NOS.
- Knowledge of programmable packet pipelines.
Eligibility Criteria
- Core Skills:
- Strong expertise in C programming and Linux environments.
- Proficiency in multithreading and socket programming.
- Understanding of data structures for performancecritical applications.
- Experience with Cisco OS platforms (IOS IOSXE NXOS).
- L2/L3 Protocol Knowledge:
- Familiarity with protocols like VLAN STP RSTP MSTP VXLAN LLDP LAG BGP OSPF RIP EIGRP IGMP PIM MPLS GRE IPSec.
Preferred Skills (C3 and C4 Levels)
- Experience with SONiC NOS.
- Knowledge of programmable packet pipelines.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Electronics or a related field.
- Advanced certifications in networking protocols or embedded systems are a plus.
