Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and selfmotivated Python Automation Tester with 5 7.5 years of experience in developing and executing robust test frameworks. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python Pytest BDD and REST API testing. This role involves understanding application requirements creating test cases automating test scenarios and executing them to ensure quality and reliability. The candidate will work closely with crossfunctional teams to deliver highquality applications in both automated and manual testing environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop maintain and execute automated test scripts using Python frameworks like Pytest BDD and Robo framework.
- Conduct webbased and application testing focusing on REST API automation and manual testing.
- Understand application requirements and workflows to design comprehensive test scenarios and cases.
- Write automate and execute test cases while adhering to best practices in testing and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of testing into the development lifecycle.
- Analyze and report test results identify bugs and track them to resolution.
- Continuously improve testing processes to enhance application quality and team efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria:
- 5 7.5 years of experience in Python framework development and testing.
- Strong expertise in Pytest BDD Robo framework and REST API testing.
- Proven experience in writing and executing test cases including both automation and manual testing.
- Good understanding of application testing workflows and webbased testing.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA for tracking and collaboration.
- Strong communication skills to effectively document and share testing insights with the team.
- Handson experience in enhancing test frameworks and improving automation coverage.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
