Job Description
We are looking for an experienced PHP/Laravel Backend Developer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in developing highquality web applications working closely with frontend developers and other team members. If you are passionate about coding and ready to take on new challenges we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and expand the features of web applications;
- Develop clean scalable and secure code;
- Create unit functional and integration tests;
- Optimize database performance;
- Interpret and implement business requirements;
- Document technical aspects of new features;
- Provide production system support and proactively resolve technical issues;
- Collaborate with development teams product managers and stakeholders to ensure timely project completion.
Skills and Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a PHP/Laravel Developer;
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering MIS or a related field;
- Strong understanding of objectoriented PHP and the Laravel framework;
- Practical experience with SQL schema design SOLID principles and REST API architecture;
- Proficiency in software testing (PHPUnit PHPSpec);
- Experience with MySQL profiling and query optimization;
- Familiarity with Git version control;
- A creative and efficient approach to problemsolving;
- Prior experience in the FinTech or FX industry is an added advantage.
