Job Description
Position Overview:
We are seeking a detailoriented and experienced Senior Audit Associate professional. This role is an opportunity to contribute to the integrity and efficiency of our financial and operational auditing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage less complex audit engagements from start to finish including planning fieldwork and drafting financial statements.
- Coordinate with audit team members and update supervisors managers and partners on engagement progress.
- Build strong relationships with clients through responsive communication and professional service delivery.
- Guide junior staff ensuring quality control meeting deadlines and managing tasks.
- Conduct research on audit topics and present findings during internal Continuing Professional Education (CPE) sessions.
Essential Skills and Experience
- 24 years of recent audit experience at a CPA firm.
- CPA license preferred; candidates actively pursuing CPA licensure or a 5thyear/Masters degree are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrates initiative commitment to quality and eagerness for continuous learning.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Governmental audit experience is a plus though not required.
