Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Required to administer and assist in the cloud migration for MFT. This is a niche skillset.
- Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems which arise during the use and operation of MFT including technical assistance in implementation conversion and migrations.
General Skills:
- Experience Axway Secure Transport and Axway Sentinel management configuration migration analysis; and support at the specified experience level
- Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals
- Experience with one or more communications protocols
- Experience in structured methodologies for the design development implementation and maintenance of applications
- Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business area stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Excellent analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles concepts policies and practices
- Experience with middleware and gateways
- Experience with SoftwareasaService (SaaS) solutions.
- Ability to provide postimplementation support and resolve any postimplementation technical issues
- Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team
- Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards Ability to provide user and system documentation as required

- Axway support and improvements (Managed File Transfer MFT)
- Operating systems (AIX; Red Hat Linux; Windows Server Operating System)
- Cloud computing concepts and configurations
- Knowledge of security best practices for each listed OS and cloud configurations
- Knowledge of best practices for MFT configuration and hardening
- Interface testing and troubleshooting
Skill Set Requirements:
Axway Secure Transport & Axway Sentinel (MFT) Experience:
- Axway support and improvements (Managed File Transfer MFT)
- Operating systems (AIX; Red Hat Linux; Windows Server Operating System)

- Firewalls
- VPN
- Connectivity testing and troubleshooting

- Documentation of work done on network configuration changes to allow MFT functionality between hosts
- Interface and system documentation
- Summaries of work done statistical reporting
