Data Driven Detroit (D3) has partnered with Mondo Unlimited to find an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Community Partnerships Coordinator! This is a fulltime salaried position with a starting salary range of $45000 $55000 per year depending on experience. We offer a number of benefits including:

This is primarily a remote position when working with members of the D3 team; however local travel in Metro Detroit is expected to attend community events and inperson meetings with partner organizations. A desk in the D3 office is available should the selected candidate wish to work partially or entirely inperson.
Note that this position is expected to work some evening and weekend hours to effectively represent D3 at community events. However we remain committed to ensuring all employees benefit from a 32hour work week.

At D3 we work every day to improve access to information in Metro Detroit. A cornerstone of this work is to establish and build data collaboratives. A data collaborative consists of a group of organizations who agree to securely share data for a common purpose. The Community Partnerships Coordinator will work across multiple data collaborative projects to recruit partner organizations and maintain relationships with these partners. These projects are focused on leveraging shared data to improve outcomes for Detroit residents and this position will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with community organizations encouraging them to contribute data that can be used to drive impactful decisionmaking and initiatives across the city and to use that data themselves.
The Community Partnerships Coordinator will also promote and conduct community outreach activities for other D3 initiatives. While specific activities may vary by project the core responsibility is to promote D3 s mission maintain strong ongoing relationships with residents and organizations that we aim to benefit through our work and ensure that the perspectives and opinions of these stakeholders are conveyed to our analytical team to maximize the impact of our activities and data tools.
Responsibilities:
- Communicating data and data concepts in a clear and approachable manner to a variety of audiences including residents policymakers and community stakeholders.
- Building confidence among nonprofit organizations in both sharing and utilizing data.
- Creating and maintaining a feedback loop between community stakeholders and the D3 analytical team to ensure that our products and resources accurately meet the needs of those we seek to serve.
- Managing recruitment and participation of community partners for D3 initiatives including data collaboratives and other data sharing efforts.
- Scheduling and supporting the implementation of data workshops with nonprofit organizations and other community partners.
- Building relationships with residents community stakeholders funders and policymakers to raise awareness of D3 s data so that it can be used to drive action.
- Broadly supporting D3 s outreach storytelling and communityfacing activities.
