Job Description
HerMD is seeking a parttime Medical Assistant (CMA preferred) to perform various office and clinical duties to keep our women s healthcare practice running efficiently in Millburn NJ!
As a physicianfounded practice we understand the challenges medical providers experience daily. HerMD is resurrecting the patientprovider relationship allowing our Medical Assistants to spend quality time with each patient and a sustainable worklife balance.

MA Responsibilities
Our MA will work directly with healthcare practice staff with administrative and clinical duties.
Assist physicians and the medical staff by performing administrative and clinical duties
Prepare treatment rooms for patient exams
Record patient medical history and maintain patient records
Explain common medical procedures to patients
Assist in basic examinations
Clean and sterilize medical equipment
Assist with in office procedures
Assist the office manager in maintaining medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed.
Learn the electronic medical records and chart procedures according to the practice standards.
Work Schedule: Wednesday Thursday Friday 8:00am 4:30pm
Location: Millburn NJ 07041
Requirements
Requirements
Active unrestricted CMA RMA or CCMA certification in the state of New Jersey is required
BLS certification required
Strong customer service skills
High level of professionalism
Ability to multitask
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Minimum of 2 years of gynecology experience is required
