- Engage in continuous professional development and SENfocused training staying uptodate with best practices and innovative teaching approaches in SEN education to enhance your skill set and provide the highest level of support to students
- Monitor and assess student progress consistently using data and observations to adjust teaching strategies as needed collaborating with other staff to ensure the students learning plans remain effective and impactful
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in Key Stage 2 teaching ideally with exposure to special educational needs (SEN) environments to bring an informed empathetic approach to diverse learning requirements
- Flexible and empathetic teaching approach with the patience and understanding needed to meet the varied learning styles of students with additional needs
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills enabling you to work effectively with SEN support staff fellow educators and families to provide holistic wellrounded support for each student
- Commitment to inclusive education with the adaptability to create and modify lesson plans that accommodate the different learning paces and abilities within the classroom
- Enhanced DBS check required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students within the school
