Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and creative Food Technology Teacher to join a school in StokeonTrent immediately. This fulltime position is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

As a Food Technology Teacher you will be teaching KS3 and KS4 students focusing on food safety cooking techniques and nutrition. The role involves adapting lessons to meet the needs of students with varying levels of ability ensuring that each student reaches their potential.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Food Technology Teacher for KS3 and KS4
  • QTS or PGCE
  • Degree in Food Technology Home Economics or a related field
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 (desirable but not essential for ECTs)

Salary
The salary for this position will be in line with the MPS/UPS pay scale depending on your experience.
