Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Design and Technology (Resistant Materials) Teacher to join a school in Derby immediately. This is a fulltime permanent position and we welcome applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Resistant Materials and the ability to teach to both KS3 and KS4 levels. You will need to be able to differentiate lessons for students of various abilities and inspire a love for design and technology.

School Information
This school is wellregarded for its strong academic performance regularly exceeding national averages. The Design and Technology department is fully equipped with modern facilities and you will work alongside a dedicated team of teachers to deliver outstanding lessons.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Design and Technology Teacher with a focus on Resistant Materials (KS3/4)
  • QTS or PGCE
  • Degree in Design and Technology or a related field
  • Experience teaching at KS3/KS4 (desirable but not essential for ECTs)

Salary
The salary for this position will be in line with the MPS/UPS pay scale based on experience.
