History Teacher Wandsworth Secondary School
Are you a dedicated and passionate History Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity in a thriving Wandsworth secondary school
A highly reputable secondary school in the vibrant borough of Wandsworth is seeking a wellqualified and enthusiastic History Teacher to join their successful History department on a fulltime permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic learning environment and inspire students in KS3 and KS4.
The Role:
- Planning and delivering engaging and effective History lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback to foster academic development.
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of the History curriculum.
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and maintain a high standard of teaching and learning within the department.
- Maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.
Candidate Profile:
- A Bachelors degree in History or a related field.
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or QTS).
- Proven experience teaching History at the secondary level (KS3/KS4).
- A strong understanding of the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students colleagues and parents.
