English Teacher Wandsworth Permanent Position
A highly reputable secondary school in the vibrant borough of Wandsworth is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to join their thriving English department on a fulltime permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced teacher or a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) to contribute to a supportive and successful learning environment.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
- Plan and implement differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
- Assess student progress provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the English department and across the wider school community.
- Participate in continuous professional development activities.
Candidate Requirements:
- A Bachelors degree in English or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- A strong understanding of the English curriculum at Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
