Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Sociology teacher to inspire our students and foster a love of social science. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving department and make a lasting impact on students learning and understanding of the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and informative Sociology lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
  • Cultivate a stimulating and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and social awareness.
  • Prepare students for success in GCSE and ALevel examinations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of the departments curriculum and assessment strategies.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Sociology or a related subject.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Sociology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
