Job Description
- Represent employers in employment litigation matters including discrimination harassment retaliation claims wage and hour disputes class and collective actions and federal/state employment law compliance
- Draft motions pleadings and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and manage discovery processes
- Handle depositions and witness interviews
- Advise employers on employment law compliance including ADA FMLA CFRA and COVIDrelated regulations as well as disability accommodations and leave policies
- Potential to engage in labor relations such as labor negotiations grievances and arbitrations
Qualifications
Qualifications
- 47 years of substantive experience in employment litigation
- Strong understanding of California employment law
- Experience with legal research drafting and discovery management
- Trial or arbitration experience preferred
- Ability to provide sound advice on federal and state labor laws
- Excellent analytical research and writing skills
- Admission to the California Bar required
