Geography Teacher Wandsworth Secondary School
A highly reputable secondary school in the vibrant borough of Wandsworth is seeking a wellqualified and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their successful department on a fulltime permanent basis. The Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
- Plan and implement a differentiated curriculum that caters to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student progress through a variety of methods and provide constructive feedback to facilitate improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the Geography department and across the school to share best practices and enhance the learning experience for all students.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of curriculum developments and pedagogical approaches in Geography education.
Candidate Profile:
- Possess a Bachelors degree in Geography or a related field.
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Demonstrate proven experience teaching Geography at the secondary school level (Key Stages 35).
- Exhibit a strong commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students colleagues and parents.
