Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Design and Technology teacher to join our dynamic team at a prestigious secondary school in West London. This is an exciting opportunity to foster a love of design and technology and prepare students for future success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring Design and Technology lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4.
- Develop students design and making skills including CAD/CAM electronics and product design.
- Prepare students for success in GCSE and ALevel Design and Technology examinations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and creative learning environment.
- Encourage participation in design competitions and exhibitions.
Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Design and Technology or a related subject.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for design and technology.
- Excellent practical skills and technical expertise.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
