Job Description

About the School:

Our elite mixed school is committed to providing an exceptional education for talented young people. We are seeking a passionate and creative Art teacher to join our dynamic department.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring Art lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to foster creativity develop artistic skills and prepare students for success in art examinations and competitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan deliver and assess engaging Art lessons.
  • Develop students artistic skills and creativity.
  • Prepare students for success in GCSE and ALevel Art examinations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a supportive and innovative learning environment.
  • Contribute to the schools arts program and exhibitions.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Art or a related subject.
  • Strong artistic skills and a passion for art education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
