The Role
- Deliver Engaging Lessons: Design plan and deliver inspiring Chemistry lessons tailored to the needs of students.
- Develop Scientific Understanding: Foster students understanding of chemical concepts theories and experimental methods.
- Prepare for Success: Prepare students for success in relevant Chemistry qualifications.
- Encourage Inquiry: Foster a love of science and encourage scientific inquiry through handson experiments and investigations.
- Contribute to the Department: Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment and contribute to the overall success of the Chemistry department.
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Chemistry Teacher: With a passion for the subject and a proven track record of success in teaching Chemistry.
- Strong Subject Knowledge: Demonstrated expertise in Chemistry including organic chemistry inorganic chemistry and physical chemistry.
- Excellent Classroom Management: Effective classroom management skills to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
- Inspirational Leader: Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities fostering a love of chemistry and encouraging their curiosity.
- Collaborative Team Player: Willingness to work effectively with colleagues to achieve shared goals and create a supportive learning environment.
