French and Spanish Teacher Wandsworth Secondary School
A reputable secondary school located in the dynamic borough of Wandsworth is currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic French and Spanish Teacher to join their thriving Modern Foreign Languages department. This is a fulltime permanent position offering an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated educator to inspire students and foster a love of language learning.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective French and Spanish lessons to students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
- Plan and implement a differentiated curriculum that caters to diverse learning styles and abilities ensuring all students make progress.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodologies and resources to create a stimulating and immersive learning environment.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments providing constructive feedback to support individual development.
- Collaborate with colleagues within the MFL department to share best practices and contribute to curriculum development.
- Stay abreast of current trends and developments in language teaching pedagogy.
Candidate Profile:
- Hold a Bachelors degree in French and/or Spanish or a related field.
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
- Demonstrate proven experience teaching French and Spanish at the secondary school level (Key Stages 35).
- Exhibit strong subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
