Training Assistant

We are currently recruiting for a TrainingAssistant to join our training facility in BYD London office at Hounslow London area. The successful candidate will develop and deliver learning to instil and maintain competencies of staff in a variety of Service & Maintenance positions. The job role will be to support the training for the differing fleets maintained at the offices workshop and any outstation connected to the customers site using BYD or 3rd Party staff.

Main Tasks and responsibilities:

• Develop and Deliver Technical Operational and any required Safety Related training to meet the business needs including the use of electrical measuring tools for differing user groups within the training facility.
• Assist the department in preparing for internal and external audits.
• Ensure training records are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
• Follow business processes & procedures safely.
• Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety.
• Take part in activities to maintain your individual competence.
• Carry out formal assessments to determine the competence of safety critical staff.
• Work with other specialists to develop training material to meet identified specifications.
• Carry out evaluations to continuously improve training documentation and delivery.
• Be aware of and actively promote and implement BYDs ethos culture and values.
• Adhere to the BYD UK Equal Opportunities Policy.
• Comply with and implement BYDs Health and Safety policy.
• Be involved in BYDs staff development & training and participate in the personal development process.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as may be required for the role.

Ideal candidate profile:

Essential Requirements

• Passion for Teamwork and Training: Enjoys helping others working collaboratively and supporting skill development.
• Technical Skills: Experienced in maintenance troubleshooting and interpreting electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Microsoft Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft OS and Office for document creation file management and email.
• Effective Communicator: Able to share information clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Safety and Compliance: Knowledgeable about health and safety standards equality and CSR policies.
• Language: Fluent in English; Chinese language skills are a plus.
• UK Work Eligibility: Must prove the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Training: Apprenticeship or Level 3 qualification in electrical or mechanical fields.

Desirable Skills

• Training & Assessment: Qualified in training or assessing to industry standards with experience in creating learning materials.
• Vehicle Fleet Management: Familiar with Charging Management Systems and fleet tools.
• NonTechnical Skills in Safety: Understands how nontechnical skills support safetycritical tasks.
