Job Description
Engineering Buyer / Expeditor
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Buyer / Expeditor to work with one of our end clients. In this role you will manage the procurement and delivery of raw materials customfabricated components and mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret engineering drawings provided by our design team or directly from customers.
- Source and procure materials required for equipment manufacturing.
- Evaluate and verify supplier quotes.
- Generate purchase orders (POs).
- Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely deliveries.
Requirements:
- Strong background in mechanical engineering or fabrication.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and fabrication engineering drawings.
- Experience in purchasing fabrications and components for engineered products.
