The Role:

- Differentiated Instruction: Plan and implement differentiated lessons to cater to the diverse learning needs of all students ensuring progress and attainment for all.
- Assessment and Feedback: Utilize effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys.
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Maths department and across the school to share resources best practices and support student learning.
- Pastoral Care: Contribute to the pastoral care of students providing guidance and support to ensure their wellbeing and academic success.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold a recognized teaching qualification with a specialization in Mathematics.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrate a successful track record of teaching Maths at the secondary level with experience in Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
- Passion for Maths: Possess a genuine enthusiasm for the subject and a commitment to inspiring students to achieve their full potential.
- Strong Subject Knowledge: Have a deep understanding of the Maths curriculum and the ability to deliver engaging and challenging lessons.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Communicate effectively with students colleagues and parents fostering positive relationships and supporting student learning.
