Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer specializing in AWS serverless technologies to join our team. As a Backend Developer at Softeq Development youll focus on building efficient secure and scalable cloudbased applications. This role will heavily emphasize AWS Lambda utilizing it to design and deploy serverless solutions that support our applications and enhance the user experience.
Location: Mexico
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend services with a primary focus on AWS Lambda functions.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and other service integrations.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers to provide efficient API endpoints and backend support.
- Build scalable highperformance applications using AWS tools like DynamoDB API Gateway S3 and CloudFormation.
- Optimize cloud solutions for cost performance and security.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to architecture and design discussions focused on cloudnative serverless approaches.
- Mentor junior developers on serverless best practices and AWS Lambda usage.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5 years of backend development experience with 3 years focused on AWS cloud services.
- Strong experience with AWS Lambda and serverless application development.
- Proficiency with Node.js Python or Java for Lambda function development.
- Familiarity with AWS tools like DynamoDB API Gateway S3 CloudFormation IAM and CloudWatch.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and best practices.
- Solid understanding of security best practices for AWS and cloudnative applications.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for AWS (e.g. CodePipeline CodeBuild).
- Knowledge of eventdriven architectures and asynchronous processing.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
