Job Description
Our clients company specializes in solar electric and EV products and services aiming to promote sustainable energy solutions. Currently they are seeking a dedicated individual for the position of Solar Racking Crew Lead.
As a Mechanical Crew Lead you will play a crucial role in overseeing a small mechanical team responsible for the installation of solar racking systems. This position requires a strong background in roofing and building construction along with the ability to lead train and mentor other mechanical installers.
Responsibilities
- Effectively install safety equipment and implement sitespecific safety plans
- Install mounting systems rails brackets and supports for panels according to manufacturer and code requirements for flat roofs pitched roofs and ground installations
- Secure mounting systems using fasteners to attach to the roof structural members
Qualifications
- Ability to take the leading role on a crew and supervise employees
- Demonstrated foreman skills including task delegation training and planning
- Experience working with various building and roofing materials such as composite tile metal and TPO
- Familiarity with waterproofing and weather sealing methods
- Knowledge of ground work and excavation processes
