Early Years SEN Teacher SEN School Hackney
A welcoming SEN school in Hackney is looking for a dedicated Early Years SEN Teacher to provide young learners with a strong foundation in essential skills within a supportive structured environment. In this fulltime permanent role you will work closely with students fostering growth confidence and a love for learning tailored to each childs developmental needs.
Role Highlights
- Fulltime permanent position within a specialist Early Years SEN setting focused on nurturing individual growth in a safe engaging environment
- Develop and implement customized creative lessons that cater to each childs unique developmental needs laying the groundwork for academic and social skills
- Collaborate closely with a team of SEN support staff and therapists to create cohesive individualized learning plans that address each childs specific needs
- Foster a warm inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages curiosity resilience and confidence helping each student feel secure and motivated to participate
- Engage in specialized training and professional development opportunities focused on Early Years SEN practices refining your approach to support effective inclusive learning
- Continuously assess student progress adjusting teaching strategies as needed and providing regular feedback to parents and SEN team members to ensure consistent aligned support
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with proven experience in Early Years education; SEN experience is highly desirable
- Patience empathy and creativity in lesson planning enabling you to design engaging and adaptable activities that meet a range of developmental abilities and learning styles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with support staff parents and SEN professionals building a network of support for each childs growth
- A collaborative approach and dedication to inclusive education with a commitment to fostering a positive supportive environment for young learners
- A current clear Enhanced DBS check is required to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students
