Key Stage 2 SEN Teacher Specialist School Haringey
An innovative SEN school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated Key Stage 2 SEN Teacher to inspire and support students with special educational needs. In this fulltime permanent role youll play a key part in developing engaging and inclusive lessons tailored to the abilities and interests of each student fostering confidence independence and a love of learning.
Role Highlights

- Plan deliver and adapt customized lessons designed to develop essential skills and boost confidence helping students achieve personal and academic milestones
- Work closely with support staff therapists and other SEN professionals to address diverse classroom needs ensuring a supportive and wellrounded approach for each child
- Foster a structured inclusive classroom environment where students feel valued respected and motivated to participate and learn
- Engage in SENfocused training and development continuously enhancing your teaching strategies to meet the evolving needs of students with SEN
- Regularly assess and monitor student progress maintaining open communication with parents SEN staff and the wider school community to support each childs journey
Experience & Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in KS2 teaching; experience in SEN is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills enabling you to effectively engage with students support staff and parents building a network of support for each students growth
- A creative adaptable approach to teaching allowing you to tailor lessons to varying abilities and learning styles maximizing each students engagement and success
- A collaborative teamoriented mindset with a commitment to contributing to a positive inclusive school culture
- A current and clear Enhanced DBS check is essential to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all students
