This fulltime permanent position commencing in January 2025 offers an exciting opportunity to nurture artistic talent and inspire a love of art in a supportive and empowering learning environment.

The Role:

  • Inspire and Engage: Deliver engaging and differentiated Art lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 fostering a love of art and developing students creative skills and critical thinking.
  • Curriculum Expertise: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching Art curriculum that encompasses a variety of media and techniques.
  • Cultivate Talent: Identify and nurture artistic talent providing guidance and support to students who wish to pursue art at a higher level.
  • Pastoral Involvement: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students supporting their wellbeing and personal development.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Art education.
  • Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of art history theory and practice with experience in a range of artistic media and techniques.
  • Creative Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Work effectively within a team and contribute to the overall success of the Art department.
