The Role:
- Inspire and Engage: Deliver engaging and differentiated Drama lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 fostering a love of theatre and developing students performance skills.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching Drama curriculum that nurtures creativity collaboration and critical thinking.
- Production Involvement: Lead and support school productions providing students with valuable performance experience and opportunities to develop their technical theatre skills.
- Pastoral Care: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students supporting their wellbeing and personal development.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Drama education.
- Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of drama techniques theatre history and performance practices.
- Creative Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
