A forwardthinking coeducational academy in Southall West London seeks a passionate and techsavvy Music Technology Teacher to join their thriving Music department. This fulltime permanent position commencing in January 2025 offers a fantastic opportunity to inspire a love of music and technology and equip students with the skills to create produce and perform music in the digital age.

The Role:
- Inspire and Engage: Deliver engaging and differentiated Music Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 fostering a deep understanding of music production sound engineering and digital music creation.
- Technical Expertise: Guide students in the use of music technology software and hardware including recording mixing and mastering techniques.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a dynamic and enriching Music Technology curriculum that incorporates current industry practices and emerging technologies.
- Performance Opportunities: Support students in creating and performing their own music providing opportunities for them to showcase their talents in concerts and events.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Music Technology education.
- Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of music technology principles software and hardware.
- Engaging Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Tech Enthusiast: Possess a passion for music technology and a desire to stay uptodate with the latest advancements in the field.
