A highperforming coeducational grammar school in Hounslow West London seeks a passionate and intellectually stimulating Geography Teacher to join their thriving department. This fulltime permanent position commencing in January 2025 offers a unique opportunity to inspire a love of geography in gifted and talented students and prepare them for success at the highest levels of academic achievement. The ability to confidently teach Geography to KS5 is essential for this role.

The Role:
- Inspire and Challenge: Deliver engaging and challenging Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 4 and 5 fostering a deep understanding of geographical concepts processes and issues.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to the planning and delivery of a rigorous and enriching Geography curriculum that prepares students for success in GCSE and ALevel examinations.
- Stretch and Challenge: Differentiate your teaching to cater to the needs of gifted and talented students providing opportunities for them to excel and reach their full potential.
- Pastoral Involvement: Play an active role in the pastoral care of students supporting their wellbeing and academic progress.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a genuine passion for Geography education.
- Subject Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of physical and human geography with knowledge of current geographical issues and debates.
- Engaging Educator: Employ innovative teaching methods to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
