Are you a dedicated and passionate Geography Teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity in a thriving Lambeth secondary school
A highly reputable secondary school in Lambeth is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their successful department on a fulltime permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic learning environment and inspire students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and effective Geography lessons to students in KS3 KS4 and KS5.
- Plan and implement differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum and school policies.
- Assess student progress provide constructive feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Geography curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure a cohesive learning experience for students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the overall success of the Geography department.
Candidate Profile:
- Hold a relevant degree in Geography or a related field.
- Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Geography curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students colleagues and parents.
- Be committed to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
